Description
Bremelanotide (PT-141; CAS No. 189691-06-3, free base) is a synthetic cyclic heptapeptide, Ac-Nle-Asp(1)-His-D-Phe-Arg-Trp-Lys(1). It is a structural analog of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH) and an agonist of melanocortin receptors, with particular affinity for MC3R and MC4R.
